While the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards respected the absolute greatest names in music, the annual ceremony likewise indicated love to a couple of the best new craftsmen on the scene, including Marshmallo, Lauv, lovelytheband and Ella Mai.
About part of the way through the function, which was facilitated by T-Pain at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, the four demonstrations met up for a fittingly planned four-minute medley, which put sparkle on every one of the demonstrations’ hits and was presented by The Masked Singer judges Nicole Scherzinger and Robin Thicke. While the EDM titan enrolled Lauv for a cover of “Happier,” which is initially sung by Bastille, lovelytheband decided on a shaking act of “broken.” Mai showed up toward the finish of the number to round out the men with the head-gesturing feel of her most recent hit, “Trip.”
Past the collaborative number, Thursday night ended up being a celebratory event as three of the demonstrations brought home honors. While Marshmello was considered Best New Pop Artist and Dance Artist of the Year, lovelytheband got the respect for Best New Rock/Alternative Rock Artist. In the interim, Ella bested both the demonstrations, scoring three honors for Best New R&B Artist, R&B Artist of the Year and R&B Song of the Year.
