Motorhomes are fashionable again, just like they were in the 70s and 80s. When you think of RVs, what springs to mind are 2+4 kids and a road trip to Disneyland? But with the exponential growth of luxury motor homes, coaches, and uber-cool restored vintage trailers, RV vacations are loved by people of every income and profession. Times are changing!
These days the types of people Rving could be regular folk just like you and me. The odds are good that your fellow road tripper could be one of the many notable celebrities, sports figures, and politicians who fell in love with the RV lifestyle.
The RV lifestyle is loved by so many — from rocker Bret Michaels to legendary actors Robert DeNiro and Will Smith, and even the former President Barrack Obama loves his recreational vehicle.
Now, the celebrity RV world might have a new addition to its fan-list as of this week, after entertainment personality Sean Borg was snapped checking out luxury motorhomes in Cathedral City and neighboring city — Palm Desert in California.
The ex-‘TMZ on TV’ reporter — turned ‘Trivago Guy’ who currently lives between Los Angeles and Palm Springs was at Holland RV looking at the price tag of a Fleetwood Southwind 34c ‘Class A’ motor home on sale priced down from $200k to a cool $142k (USD). He then looked at more modestly priced Winnebago Itasca ‘Class A’, coming in at a mere $90k.
Later in the week, he was seen behind the wheel test driving a trendy Thor Hurricane ‘A-Class’ at Mike Thompson RV.
Sources recently revealed Borg’s in talks with the ‘Netflix’ channel to co-host a new travel show. Perhaps life on the road living in an RV might have something to do with it?
Whatever his reasons are for eyeing these fancy recreational vehicles, you bet the ‘travel and lifestyle’ expert has something up his sleeve.
