Chicago is drenched in rain this morning. Between five and ten in the morning will be when the city will see the most rain.
Around noon, the rain will start to lessen, but before the next heavy downpour comes this evening, there may be intermittent drizzle throughout the rest of the day. There won’t be any accumulation predicted, and any snow that does mix in will only cover the far northwest suburbs.
The low 40s remain constant, with a few degrees less heat in the north.
With highs in the low to mid-40s, tomorrow will be partly cloudy but dry throughout the day.
Overnight, rain returns, and it stays that way for most of Sunday. Again, any snow that mixes in will likely be in our extreme northwest, where accumulations are improbable.
Before another system moves in late Monday night into early Tuesday morning, it will be dry. That one appears to be mostly light rain. might be flirting with 50 degrees once more by the end of next week.
