“Aperture,” the lead track from Harry Styles’ new album “Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally,” made his Billboard Hot 100 debut at No. 1.
His third song to reach the top of the singles chart is “Aperture.” While “Watermelon Sugar” retained the top spot for one week in August 2020, “As It Was” debuted at the top of the chart in April 2022 and remained there for 15 weeks. He previously had six top 10s as part of One Direction, and “Aperture” marks his eighth solo top 10 on the Hot 100.
Shortly after taking the stage at the Grammy Awards to present Bad Bunny with album of the year for “DeBĩ TiRAR MáS FOToS,” Styles made his chart-topping debut. The British singer is getting ready for the March 6 release of his latest album, which will be followed by an incredible 30-night tour of Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Other songs on the Hot 100 include Taylor Swift’s “The Fate of Ophelia,” Olivia Dean’s “Man I Need,” Huntr/x’s “Golden,” and Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas,” which reaches a career high at No. 2. Bruno Mars’ “I Just Might,” Alex Warren’s “Ordinary,” Sombr’s “Back to Friends,” Kehlani’s “Folded,” and Swift’s “Opalite” round out positions six through 10.
On the albums chart, Megadeth’s self-titled album achieved its first and, presumably, final No. 1 on the Billboard 200. With “I’m the Problem,” Morgan Wallen comes in second, followed by Olivia Dean’s “The Art of Loving,” Zach Bryan’s “With Heaven on Top,” and A$AP Rocky’s “Don’t Be Dumb.” Swift’s “The Life of a Showgirl” comes in at No. 6, followed by “SOS” by SZA, “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS,” “Slime Cry” by YoungBoy Never Broke Again, and the music to “KPop Demon Hunters.”
