In China, 14 new cases of Coronavirus epidemic have been observed on Saturday. The National Health Commission has confirmed this. Xinhua quoted the latest figures from the National Health Commission as saying, “Of the total cases in Mainland China, two imported cases were reported in Shanghai, while 12 cases spread due to domestic infection. Of these, 11 have also been reported in Jilin Province and the other in Hubei Province”.
A new suspected case of Covid-19 infection imported from abroad (originated from outside) was registered in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The National Health Commission said, “There were no deaths on Saturday in Mainland China, while 74 people who were fully recovered after treatment were discharged from hospitals. The number of serious cases also decreased from two to 13”.
As of Saturday, the total number of cases of Covid-19 epidemic in China was 82 thousand 901. Of these, 148 patients are currently under treatment, while 78 thousand 120 patients have become completely healthy. The Health Commission of China said, “A total of 4 thousand 633 people have died due to Coronavirus infection”.
A total of 1,683 imported cases were registered in Mainland Chine till Saturday, out of which, after recovery of 1,568, they were discharged from hospitals. At the same time, 115 patients are hospitalized, out of which three are in critical condition. No deaths have been seen so far in cases coming from outside the country.
The National Health Commission said that four foreign nationals are suspected of suffering from Covid-19 infection. At the same time, the Covid-19 infection has been confirmed by Hong Kong Special Administration Region (SAR) to 1,444 people including four deaths till Saturday, while Macau SAR has reported 45 cases including 45 deaths in Taiwan and 440 cases. A total of 967 patients in Hong Kong, 40 in Macao and 361 in Taiwan have been discharged from hospitals after recovery.
