The inspiring Disney alum who co-founded a media company at eight is now a Gen-Z trailblazer making boss moves capturing the attention of a worldwide audience.

At just 17-years-old, Raven Keiara is sitting pretty as one of her generation’s most dynamic young leaders. The award-winning former Disney child actress is leveraging her platform to drive social change, inspire youth, and champion community engagement on a global scale.
The talented Miss Raven Keiara graduated in June from the prestigious Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach, CA. She is also an alumni of the legendary Bill Duke’s screenwriting and filmmaking initiative in collaboration with New York Film Academy. Raven Keiara spent last summer in New York City studying business at NYU.
Raven Keiara’s passion for empowerment and activism shines through her initiative, “Show Up and Step Up.” Launched to tackle the unique challenges faced by Generation Z, her program emphasizes the importance of community involvement, social justice, and leadership. By fostering mentorship and volunteerism, Raven Keiara seeks to galvanize her peers into becoming proactive agents of change.
“An initiative such as this uniquely positions us to offer aspiring talent with valuable hands-on training and insights partnering with some of the most notable professionals in our industry,” said Raven Keiara.
Her efforts have earned her recognition from notable figures including Senator Ben Allen, L.A. County Supervisor Holly J. Mitchell, and Manhattan Beach Mayor Joe Franklin. In June 2024, these acknowledgments underscored her impactful work in promoting racial equity, combating bullying, and addressing mental health issues.
This year alone, Raven Keiara’s contributions have also been celebrated by U.S. Senator Laphonza Butler, Congressman Ted Lieu, and Congresswoman Maxine Waters.
“It is extremely important for my generation to be engaged, participate and experience the beautiful diversity in our world,” said Raven Keiara. “Advocacy matters and it’s a tragedy when people don’t use their platforms to give respective causes the attention it needs,” the teen activist stated.
Raven Keiara’s impressive track record extends beyond activism. A multifaceted artist, she has seamlessly transitioned from a Disney child starlet to a versatile performer, with credits spanning acting, singing, dancing, and modeling.
The multihyphenate is currently starring in the streaming movie “Our Christmas Love Story,” and performing in a newly released music video titled “Show Me,” currently garnering worldwide attention. The video has been met with critical acclaim and shows a more mature side of both Raven Keiara and co-star Issac Ryan Brown of “Raven’s Home” fame.
From her early days in Hollywood, where she began starring in productions for Disney at just five years old, to working with celebrities on a regular basis when she co-founded PopSource TV at eight years old, Raven Keiara continues to defy the odds and prove that age is just a number.
The multifaceted talent made history in the first class of secondary students to cover the National Arts, Entertainment and Journalism Awards in 2015. It was there where she was introduced to media mogul Tavis Smiley and would later land a job at his radio station KBLA 1580 in Los Angeles, becoming the youngest producer at the station at fifteen years old.
Raven Keiara’s journey is a testament to her dedication and talent. Her time at Amazing Grace Conservatory working as a protege under founder and CW/BET/Paramount+ alumni Wendy Raquel Robinson further cemented her status as a rising star.
The talented teen has been instrumental with the musical theatre showcase AGCompany performing at the Academy of Motion Pictures, The Beverly Hilton, Disney’s Celebration of Gospel and many other performances that have captivated audiences across Southern California.
“As an Ambassador now with AGC I am deeply invested in fostering interest and support of the creative arts and education by bridging gaps with community partners. I have a passion for music and cultural education and try to advocate for the arts because it is so important for young people’s exposure. I believe it is crucial to educate and engage youth in the arts, culture and entertainment so I partner with alliances to champion this important cause,” said Raven Keiara.
Raven Keiara’s commitment to blending art with activism has positioned her as a trailblazer among her peers. Her belief in the power of community and innovation drives her mission to create a more inclusive and equitable world.
