Bravo continues to add diamonds to its roster, with Leah Remini becoming the latest star expected to join The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
The King of Queens star is set to become part of the reality series for Season 16, according to sources who confirmed the casting to Deadline.
Remini is widely recognized for her roles in sitcoms including Kevin Can Wait, Saved by the Bell, and First Time Out. She also has experience in unscripted television, having previously starred in TLC’s Leah Remini: It’s All Relative as well as the docuseries Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath, in which she examined the Church of Scientology after leaving the organization.
Remini’s arrival on RHOBH comes after Tracy Tutor was added to the cast. The Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles star is already part of the Bravo universe and will switch franchises, joining Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley, Sutton Stracke, Erika Jayne, Rachel Zoe and Bozoma Saint John.
“Well… the secret’s officially out,” Tutor wrote on Instagram on August 19. “I’m joining the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and I could not be more excited for this next chapter.”
She added, “Beverly Hills is home. I’ve raised my girls here, built my career here, and now apparently I’ve decided to let you all even further into my life. Excited? Very. Nervous? A little. Likely to get into some trouble? Absolutely. So what’s left to say but, Let’s fucking go.”
Bravo has yet to reveal which stars from Season 15 of RHOBH will return for the upcoming season, though one departure is already confirmed: Amanda Frances will not be back after one season. The self-made star announced on social media that she would be leaving the reality series.
“Grateful for the experience. The women. The viewers who saw me, rooted for me, challenged me, quoted me, misunderstood me, defended me, found my work, bought my books, or simply watched me try to explain metaphysics in a room full of diamonds and side-eyes,” she wrote in part on Instagram “It was a ministry, honestly. But I came into this experience with an already-full life. And right now, that life is asking for all of me.”
