Apple is releasing watchOS 11.2 for Apple Watch users today in addition to iOS 18.2 for the general public. While watchOS 11.2 isn’t a significant update, it does include a new feature in the Camera Remote app, unlike iOS 18.2, which introduces new Apple Intelligence features.
The latest features of watchOS 11.2
Apart from bug fixes and general enhancements, there isn’t much to say about watchOS 11.2. But there’s a new feature for those who operate the iPhone camera with the Camera Remote app on the Apple Watch. More precisely, users can now pause video while it’s being recorded using the app. In September, iOS 18.0 owners of iPhones were given the same option.
Along with this enhancement, Chinese Apple Watch owners may now check the tidal conditions using the new Tides that watchOS 11 added.
Go to Settings > General > Software Update to update your Apple Watch. Note that in order to install watchOS updates, the Apple Watch must be plugged into a charger and have at least 50% of its battery left.
