“APT.” by ROSÉ & Bruno Mars joins the esteemed company of “Dynamite” by BTS as the only K-pop (Korean pop) acts’ songs to make it to the top five on Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart.
“APT.” moves up two ranks to No. 5 on the latest Pop Airplay chart, which was released on January 18. The song “Dynamite” peaked in December 2020 at No. 5 on the radio ranking.
ROSÉ’s first solo Pop Airplay chart entry is “APT.” Since joining the popular K-pop quartet BLACKPINK, she has charted two songs with them, including one that peaked at No. 21.
With information supplied to Billboard by Luminate, the Pop Airplay chart ranks songs according to weekly airplay on more than 150 mainstream top 40 radio stations tracked by Mediabase.
PSY’s “Gangnam Style” in 2021 was the first of five K-pop songs to reach the Pop Airplay top 10. The only songs like that that are billed to solo artists are “APT.” and that viral hit. Here’s a recap:

Reporter for the Pop Airplay chart, KMVQ (99.7 Now) San Francisco had more than 1,300 plays for “APT.” since the single’s release on October 18, 2024, more than any other panelist. WHTZ (Z100) New York, KIIS (102.7 KIIS-FM) Los Angeles and SiriusXM’s TikTok Radio have also received significant exposure from Los Angeles and SiriusXM’s TikTok Radio.
The song “APT.” from ROSÉ’s debut album outside of BLACKPINK, Rosie, simultaneously tops the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts for an 11th week each. The song remains at its highest position of No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100, making ROSÉ the first female K-pop singer to make it to the top five.
