Beyoncé will perform a live NFL halftime show in Houston on Christmas Day, which Netflix will broadcast. It’s not a concert film or visual album, but it’s still a gift of Bey proportions.
The streamer and the hitmaker of “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages” have teamed up to present the NFL’s first-ever live Christmas game show during the second NFL game this year. When the Houston Texans play the Baltimore Ravens at NRG Stadium, the singer-songwriter will perform in her hometown.
Beyoncé will be performing songs from her hit album “Cowboy Carter” live for the first time. In an advertisement during the 2024 Super Bowl, Bey revealed the album in February. Last week, it received 11 Grammy Award nominations, making it the most-nominated album by a female artist.
Bey is anticipated to have some special guests from “Cowboy Carter,” which has well-known voices from pop, R&B, and country music, even if there isn’t much information regarding the concert.
The singer of “Formation” has performed at two Super Bowls. She was the main act for the 2013 halftime show in New Orleans when she was joined by Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland, who were once members of Destiny’s Child. Alongside Coldplay and Bruno Mars, she also performed on a global stage during Super Bowl L in Santa Clara in 2016.

According to the streamer, in keeping with tradition, the games will also be accessible on U.S. mobile devices with NFL+ and televised on television in the cities where the contending teams play.
The second NFL package to be sent to a streamer is the Christmas games. Beginning with the 2023 season, the rights to “Thursday Night Football” were purchased by Amazon Prime Video.
