Based on 65 pertinent factors, WalletHub compared over 180 cities in the United States. The nightlife and parties, enjoyment and recreation, and total expenses were the three main factors.
According to WalletHub, “WalletHub compared 182 cities — including the 150 most populated U.S. cities, plus at least two of the most populated cities in each state.”
With a score of 71.38, Las Vegas, Nevada, was ranked as the most enjoyable city in the United States.
The city was ranked first by WalletHub in both the nightlife and parties and entertainment and recreation categories.
Orlando and Miami, two Florida cities, came in at No. 2 and No. 3.
Orlando ranked near the top of the list, according to the research, thanks to its best theme parks in the country.
According to WalletHub, the city boasts some of the lowest nightly rates for a three-star hotel room as well as comparatively cheap average pricing for everyday meals like pizza and burgers. It was listed as one of the top cities for football fans as well.
Miami’s beaches are a particularly well-liked destination for spring breakers, according to WalletHub, which ranked the city as the third most enjoyable in the United States. The city is ideal for people who enjoy the great outdoors and was named the finest in America for boat tours and water activities.
According to WalletHub, Chicago, the third-largest city in the US, ranks eighth overall for leisure and recreation and 12th for nightlife and parties.
