Rain showers will lessen through Friday night, and by Saturday morning, there will be some clouds in the sky.
The weather for Saturday is supposed to be sunny and in the lower 40s.
However, on Sunday, New Year’s Eve, snow showers are predicted.

The majority of the region is predicted to receive a dusting to half an inch of snow; however, due to lake effect snow, northwest Indiana regions may receive one to two inches.
In northwest Indiana, there may be some persistent lake-effect snow showers on Monday.
The temperature on New Year’s Day is expected to be in the mid-30s. After Monday morning, the coming week looks to be quite calm with little to no chance of precipitation.
