After a four-day extended holiday, Bholaa has begun to arrive on its own. On Sunday, the movie made 13.48 crores more at the box office, which is excellent considering that non-national multiplex chains are responsible for more than 50% of the movie’s income. Typically, the single screens and multiplexes at the smaller centres give more than what comes from the multiplexes in the larger cities do for the majority of movies, but for a film like Bholaa, this is not the case.
Since ticket prices are much lower at the theatres where the movie is doing well, all of this also translates into a higher number of people actually viewing the movie. Ajay Devgn would want this pattern to continue, though, because while this particular audience is seeing the movie, urban audiences are also seeing it in 3D, IMAX, and 4DX versions, which are keeping them interested.
The movie is presently at 44.28 crores after passing the 40 crore threshold. The picture has made a fair amount of money, even though a 50 crore total would have had a better ring to it. The most important finding for the action drama is that, while it may not have taken off significantly, the trending is positive, meaning that Bholaa may ultimately become a respectable success. However, for that to happen, it would need to continue operating and providing well for the following three weeks.
