Diu is mainly known for its white sand beaches. Most famous of the beaches is Nagoa beach. Other beaches are Ghogla, Jallandhar, Chakratirth, and Gomtimata. Old Diu is known for its Portuguese architecture.

Daman is an enclave on the state of Gujarat’s southern coast, situated 100 miles (160 km) north of Mumbai (Bombay). 

Diu encompasses an island off the southern coast of Gujarat’s Kathiawar Peninsula, 40 miles (64 km) southeast of Veraval, as well as a small area on the mainland.

How to reach Diu by Rail?

 The nearest railhead to Diu is located nearly 90 km from the city in Veraval.

You can take state bus or private bus to reach this place from Varaval Railway station.

How do I get to Diu by air?
