Drake has made Billboard 200 history after his three newly released albums — ICEMAN, HABIBTI and MAID OF HONOUR — debuted at Nos. 1, 2 and 3, respectively, on the chart dated May 30.
All three projects arrived on Friday, May 15. The achievement marks the first time an artist has occupied the top three positions on the Billboard 200 simultaneously since the chart began publishing weekly in March 1956.
ICEMAN, which Drake had been teasing for nearly two years ahead of its release, debuted at No. 1 with 463,000 equivalent album units. The accomplishment gives Drake his 15th Billboard 200 chart-topper, allowing him to surpass Jay-Z for the most No. 1 albums among solo male artists and R&B/hip-hop acts. He also ties Taylor Swift for the most No. 1 albums among solo artists overall. Only The Beatles remain ahead with a record 19 chart-topping albums.
While ICEMAN had been promoted for months before release, the existence of HABIBTI and MAID OF HONOUR was only revealed during a livestream on May 14 shortly before all three albums arrived together.
ICEMAN opened with 463,000 equivalent album units earned in the United States during the tracking week ending May 21, making it the second-biggest album week of 2026 and the largest week of the year for an R&B/hip-hop release. HABIBTI debuted with 114,000 units, while MAID OF HONOUR launched with 110,000 units.
ICEMAN trails only BTS’ ARIRANG, which posted 641,000 units earlier this year. HABIBTI and MAID OF HONOUR followed directly behind ICEMAN at Nos. 2 and 3 with 114,000 and 110,000 units earned, respectively.
Elsewhere inside the Billboard 200 top 10, Lucki secured his first top 10 album as Dr*gs R Bad debuted at No. 9.
The Billboard 200 ranks the most popular albums in the United States using equivalent album units, combining album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). One unit equals one album sale, 10 individual track sales from an album, or 2,500 ad-supported or 1,000 paid on-demand official streams generated by songs from an album.
Of ICEMAN’s 463,000 equivalent album units, SEA units accounted for 449,000, representing 462.2 million on-demand official streams from the album’s 18 tracks. The project also debuted at No. 1 on Top Streaming Albums. Album sales contributed 13,000 units, helping it debut at No. 5 on Top Album Sales, while TEA units contributed 1,000.
For HABIBTI, SEA units made up 108,000 of its 114,000-unit total, equaling 110.63 million on-demand official streams from the album’s 11 tracks. It debuted at No. 2 on Top Streaming Albums, while album sales totaled nearly 6,000 units, placing it at No. 12 on Top Album Sales.
MAID OF HONOUR earned 110,000 units in its opening week, including 104,000 SEA units generated from 105.48 million on-demand official streams across its 14 tracks. The album debuted at No. 3 on Top Streaming Albums, while sales contributed 6,000 units, giving it a No. 11 debut on Top Album Sales.
Drake officially released ICEMAN on May 15 after steadily building anticipation for the album over the previous two years. He began teasing the project in July 2025 during the first episode of his “Iceman” livestream series, where he previewed new music including “What Did I Miss?” and “Which One” featuring Central Cee.
On the eve of the album’s release, Drake hosted the fourth “Iceman” livestream and surprised fans by revealing that he would release three albums at once with the additions of MAID OF HONOUR and HABIBTI. After unveiling the artwork for all three projects, the albums arrived at midnight on Friday.
Elsewhere on the Billboard 200, Noah Kahan’s The Great Divide fell from No. 1 to No. 4, followed by Ella Langley’s Dandelion. Positions six through 10 were occupied by Morgan Wallen’s I’m the Problem, Michael Jackson’s Thriller, Number Ones, Lucki’s Dr*gs R Bad, and BTS’ ARIRANG.
Like ICEMAN, both HABIBTI and MAID OF HONOUR were only made available for purchase as digital download albums.
