The episode XXX Uncensored 2, streamed on Ekta Kapoor’s Alt Balaji, sparked controversy over the misrepresentation of the Indian Army and the uniform in one episode. Ekta Kapoor was constantly being targeted for the show for some time. A complaint has been lodged against him in many places including Indore, now Ekta Kapoor has apologized on the whole matter. An unconditional apology has been said in the statement issued by Ekta Kapoor.
Ekta Kapoor said that her digital platform Alt Balaji respects the army a lot. Once again, I want to say clearly that we apologize unconditionally to the wives of the army and soldiers. Taking full responsibility, we want to say that the disputed scene shown in the episode was our fault. We removed it as soon as we came to know about it. So that nobody’s feelings get hurt.
