Samantha Ruth Prabhu is presently filming the Indian adaption of the upcoming online series Citadel, and it is anticipated that she will portray some intense action scenes. Samantha is now gearing up for the release of Shaakuntalam. The Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil versions of the movie will all be released on April 14. Shaakuntalam, based on Kalidasa’s work, is the story of Shakuntala and her courtship with King Dushyant, and the curse of rishi Durvasa which made Dushyant forget his love for the ‘apsara’-like Shakuntala.
She will next be featured in the forthcoming love drama Khusi, starring Vijay Deverakonda. She appeared in Yashoda and Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal last year.
