The actor Kajol is well recognised for her clever social media posts. On Wednesday, she answered a question that trolls frequently pose by posting on her Instagram account about how she developed into someone who is “so fair” over time. She uploaded a photo of herself covering her face.
Kajol had her face hidden in the image. She sported sunglasses and a blue t-shirt. At a store, it was clicked. “To all those who ask me how I become so fair #sunblocked #spfunbeatable,” Kajol wrote beside the image she shared as a poke at trolls.
“Don’t get me wrong; I was an extremely self-assured child. I called myself a lot of things, including pretty, intelligent, cool, and even hot. But I didn’t think I was attractive. Much of it was influenced by the rhetoric that was being used at the time. I took a very long time to get to ‘lovely,’ she continued.
Kajol’s upcoming OTT appearance will be in Disney+ Hotstar’s The Good Wife. Revathy, who directed Salaam Venky, was her last director.
