Since time immemorial, the classical music industry has been a witness to stalwarts and a pious set of audiences. Indian classical redefines the cultural richness and uniqueness of the country. There are several artists who practice this profuse art and one such artist who is adding a new light to the classical base of India is Hemant Joshi.
Hemant Joshi originally hails from Gujarat and has been brought up in an affluent environment flowing with music. He has been learning classical vocal for years now from his maestro Guruji Shree Rashid Khan Saheb. He has even studied the same subject and has completed his Ph.D. in Classical Vocal. Other than Indian classical, he is also active in the field of Western Classical and it’s singing techniques. He has performed in several national and international shows leaving the audience spellbound with his expertise in the art. One of his notable performances was in Africa, where the audience named him “The Half-Blood Prince” after his performance. This was a huge moment for Hemant Joshi and thus he even got the title tattooed on his body later.
Other than being a classical artist, Hemant is also an emerging name in the Bollywood music circle too. He is popular as a playback singer, music video producer and a publisher as well. He also stars in his own videos and thus occasionally brushes up his acting skills. His music has been recognised and produced by several famous banners, the most famous being T-series. He is also famous for his engaging stage performances that are mostly based on Bollywood and Dhollywood music. Coming to Dhollywood, he is an active performer of Bhagvat Saptah With Jignesh dada, Satsangi Jivan Katha with Shree Nityaswarupdasji Swami (Swaminarayan Temple Sardahar ), and many more.
