I was born and raised in India and moved to the United States in 2008. Initially, I settled in New York City, where I lived and worked for 11 years before moving to Dallas in 2020. My interest in photography began after moving to the US. While I was in New York, I started to explore photography as a hobby, which quickly grew into a deep passion. I pursued formal training and earned a certification from the New York Institute of Photography, which provided me with a solid foundation in the technical and artistic aspects of photography. Upgrading to professional camera gear further fueled my enthusiasm, allowing me to experiment and hone my skills.
As I delved deeper into photography, I began to see the world differently. I became more attuned to the subtleties of light, color, texture, angles, viewpoints, and the stories that images can tell. This evolution in my perspective and skills led to my work being published in over 40 magazines, including renowned names like Vanity, Moevir, Flannele (French magazines), Lucy’s, Elegant, Ellements, Opium, Pump, and Selin, among others.
In addition to publication success, I have received several prestigious international awards, such as the One Eyeland Award, the International Color Award (which saw participation from over 73 countries and 6200 entries), and the Black Spider Award. Challenges
Has your journey been smooth?
No, it has been quite a struggle filled with numerous challenges and learning experiences. The path to becoming a successful photographer is often paved with trial and error. For instance, there have been instances where entire shoots were compromised because I accidentally shot in JPEG format instead of RAW, which is much harder to edit due to its limited flexibility in post-processing.
Moreover, coordinating with models and other professionals has its own set of challenges. There have been times when models didn’t show up for scheduled shoots after I had already booked studios and makeup artists, leading to wasted resources and time. Additionally, some models have specific demands and tantrums, insisting on edits in styles that do not align with my artistic vision. Navigating these obstacles has taught me resilience and adaptability, crucial traits for any professional photographer.

I’ve been dedicated to photography for over a decade, with a primary focus on editorial and high fashion photography. My work is heavily inspired by photographers such as Tony Kelly, whose vibrant color themes are incredibly inspiring, and Gary Breckheimer, a New York-based photographer renowned for his exceptional eye and talent.
Over the years, I have cultivated a unique style that sets me apart in the industry.
