Apple is preparing to roll out its upcoming major software updates for all of its devices. iOS 18.2 is the one generating the most news because it will give your iPhone a lot of new features.
Although watchOS 11.2, the next software update for your Apple Watch, won’t have nearly as many new features, it will have one that should be very helpful. especially for people who use their iPhone’s camera with their Apple Watch.
A camera control upgrade
The ability to remotely control your iPhone’s camera with the Camera Remote app on your Apple Watch has been extremely limited thus far. You can capture pictures and videos while making sure you’re in the frame because it doubles as a viewfinder and shutter button.
The only thing you have to do if you record videos is start and stop. However, a new pause button is being added to the Camera Remote app with watchOS 11.2. By doing this, you will be able to pause and resume video recordings without having to start over from start.
