To stop the spread of the corona virus, an order to close all theaters in the country by 31 March has already been issued. Now there has also been a shocking news for the film industry from overseas. Many countries in the Overseas Territory of Indian films have decided to close theaters for the next 8 weeks. Which is likely to cause huge damage to the film industry.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh has given this important information by tweeting. According to the tweet, the event and village theater companies have decided to close all theaters in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji by the next 8 weeks i.e. by the end of May. The press release of the event cinema company stated that this directive has come into force from 23 March itself. HOYTS in Australia have also taken similar steps to follow Corona’s government directives there.
#BreakingNews: ALL theatres [Event, Village] shut for 8 weeks *till May-end* 2020 in #Australia, #NZ, #Fiji… NO new release in that region *till May-end*… Hoyts shut too.

Cinemas are to be closed till 31 March as per the instructions so far in India. At the same time, lockdown has been done in many states of the country till 31 March. That is, all offices, shops and schools will be closed except essential services.
It is obvious that even if films start to be released in India from April 1, they will not be released in New Zealand, Australia and Fiji. All three countries contribute a lot in the business of the Indian film industry. Due to the large population of Indian audiences in these countries, films do good business. In such a situation, it is a big shock for the upcoming films.
These Films are affected from Coronavirus
The films that will affect the bandh in New Zealand, Australia and Fiji include Akshay Kumar’s Suryavanshi and Laxmi Bomb, Ranbir Singh’s 83 The Film and Salman Khan’s Radhey. Suryavanshi was first to be released on March 24, which is now deferred indefinitely. Recently the announcement of the postponement of 83 was announced by Makers. At the same time, Lakshmi Bomb and Radhe were to come on Eid in May.
