The James Bond film franchise’s producers present 007: Road to a Million, which follows nine pairs of regular people as they embark on a grand international adventure while competing in a series of Bond-inspired tasks for the chance to win a life-changing £1,000,000 reward.
The game’s on-screen creator, “The Controller” (Brian Cox), directs where the pairs travel, what they must do, and how they answer questions. He keeps an eye on each team’s mission and enjoys watching the drama of his elaborately planned and frequently unrelenting trials play out.
Each competitor couple gets 10 questions that have been buried by “The Controller” around the globe, and the answers might win them £1,000,000. The pairs must overcome Bond-inspired trials to get to these questions, testing their physical stamina and mental stamina. Each question has a rising value, and if it is answered right, they deposit the money and move on to the next one. Their journey will be ended if they make a mistake.
