Prime Video has officially announced “Secret Level,” a new adult animated anthology series featuring original short stories set in the worlds of popular video games. The announcement of the series, from the creative team behind the acclaimed Netflix series “Love, Death & Robots,” was made during the Gamescom Opening Night Live global live stream.
The series, titled “Secret Level,” includes 15 original short stories set in the worlds of classic video games such as Armored Core, Concord, Crossfire, Dungeons & Dragons, Exodus, Honor of Kings, Mega Man, New World: Eternum, Pac-Man, various PlayStation Studio games, Sif, Spelunky, The Outer Worlds, Unreal Tournament, and Warhammer 40,000.
“Secret Level” will be available exclusively on Prime Video from December 10th. The project comes from Amazon MGM Studios and Blur Studios, the creators of Netflix’s first animated anthology Love, Death + Robots. Tim Miller and Dave Wilson will executive produce, with Wilson also serving as executive producer.

Games feel like a natural inspiration for what would become an animated show. Today’s AAA cinematics are as polished and emotional as standalone movies. What’s more, game-inspired TV series have reached new levels of success in recent years, thanks to projects like Fallout, The Last of Us, and Arcane.
