Samantha Ruth Prabhu has never been afraid to acknowledge her achievements on social media with her followers. For the past few years, the actress has been very outspoken about her struggles. Despite having achieved great success professionally, the actress had to deal with a divorce as well as a major health ailment called myositis, an autoimmune disorder. In a recent Instagram post, Samantha explained how she got through the challenging times by relying on her religion. The actress posted a photo of herself doing meditation in front of an idol and wrote, “Sometimes, it doesn’t take superhuman strength… You survive via faith. You remain calm when you have faith; it serves as both a teacher and a friend. By faith, you become superhuman.
Anushka Sharma, an actress and producer, replied to the tweet with the word “Yes” and a heart emoji. Krésha Bajaj, a fashion designer and Samantha’s acquaintance, responded with a heart emoji.
On the work front, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is preparing for the release of her much-anticipated film Shaakuntalam,directed by Gunasekhar. Dev Mohan will play King Dushyanta in the movie, which also stars Samantha in the title role. The film will also feature Mohan Babu, Madhoo, Gautami, Aditi Balan and Ananya Nagallaand is based on Kalidasa’s AbhigyanamShakuntalam. Shaakuntalam will hit the theatres on April 14.
In addition to Shaakuntalam, Samantha Ruth Prabhu will appear in Kushi opposite Vijay Deverakonda and Citadel, the Indian adaptation of the popular television series.
