The California senator, who is of Indian and Jamaican heritage, will be first elected woman in White House
British Entertainment Personality Sean Borg revealed he was fundraising for Harris in early 2019 when she announced she was running for president.
Borg, with the help of former Los Angeles Deputy District Attorney and Criminal Defense Lawyer Michael Kraut arranged one of the first ever events in support of Harris’ journey to Washington.

“I’m backing you one hundred percent,” the entertainment news personality told Senator Harris at Kraut’s palatial Los Feliz home in April last year.
Harris had originally announced her candidacy for president but backed out of presidential race. The California senator broke barriers but ran out of money as she struggled in polls, according to reports.
Her abrupt announcement was perhaps the most surprising development in the 2020 race. But, Harris bounced back when Presidential candidate Joe Biden confirmed Harris as his running mate in August.
Kraut, a firm advocate for Harris during her rise in politics and member of Harris’s finance team, said back then, “Harris suffered early on from too many people telling her what to do.”

On his Instagram page, Borg wrote: “#madamvicepresident Kamala! @kamalaharris I supported you from the start when you were running for President, and I attended your first ever fundraiser and raised funds for you, and attended subsequent other events in support of you. I am so proud of your journey and your success today! Joe wasn’t my choice for the Job — you were…. but at least now you have an office and a bedroom at The Whitehouse @whitehouse, so that’s a good start…. and one day the Oval office! Congratulations to you and @joebiden — It was a tough one — and a very close one…but you did it!” 😊 @seanborgla ❤️ #kamalaharris #joebiden #seanborg #election2020
Joe Biden won the US presidency clinching Pennsylvania and its 20 electoral votes on Saturday morning, after days of painstaking vote counting following record turnout across the country. The win in Pennsylvania took Biden’s electoral college vote to 284, surpassing the 270 needed to win his way back to Washington.
In a speech that came days after election night in Wilmington, Delaware, before she introduced President-elect Joe Biden, Harris thanked Black women, saying they are “too often overlooked, but so often prove that they are the backbone of our democracy.” “While I may be the first woman in this office, I will not be the last,” Harris said. “Because every little girl watching tonight sees that this is a country of possibilities.”
“And to the children of our country, regardless of your gender, our country has sent you a clear message: Dream with ambition, lead with conviction and see yourself in a way that others might not see you, simply because they’ve never seen it before. And we will applaud you every step of the way,” she said.
Borg, who is based in Los Angeles, said, “It was a privilege to meet and support Senator Kamala Harris on her political climb. I knew she would make it to the Whitehouse somehow. She has immense presence that cannot be ignored.”
“One day Madam Vice President and the next — the President. Now that’s an exciting thought,” he added.
