While numerous fans will perceive Robert Pattinson from his time as Edward Cullen in the enormously effective “Twilight” franchise, the 33-year-old star has progressed significantly since his days as a teen heartthrob.
In a recent interview with British GQ, the actor uncovered some of his greatest challenges following his quick ascent to fame, and even though he concedes that he isn’t being hounded by the paparazzi as much as he used to be, Pattinson is as yet cautious while he’s out in the public.
“I have so many terror memories of the paparazzi… and I still don’t full-on protective armor, hood up, hat down,” the actor shared.
Concerning his initial fashion choices, Pattinson looks back and laughs at some of his more questionable looks. An outfit that especially stands out in his memory is from a red carpet appearance at the 2005 debut of “Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire.”
“I was wearing leather trousers with these cowboy boots and a velvet jacket,” he recalls. “I mean, it looked like a kid had gone into a dressing-up box.”
