Owner of Toronto based Stamina Group Inc. is not only a successful entrepreneur, but he’s also an Instagram influencer with over thirteen thousand followers. Branco’s experience is extensive – with over 15 years of it at his disposal, and he’s not even close to finished. We sat down to talk with him about his experiences, get some social media insights, and hear his aspirations for the future of his business and his following.
How are you balancing your Instagram life and your role as CEO and Creative Director of Stamina Group Inc.?
It’s a balancing act, of course. Some days you manage, and some days, things slip. I’m not going to deny it. I’m not perfect, but I never give up. Have I wanted to? Sure, but once it sinks in; I remember why I became an entrepreneur in the first place. Add the fact that I also showcase almost everything about my life too, and it just adds another level of complexity to it. But I love it. Having been able to impact lives, inspire change, growth, confidence and courage, makes it all worth it.
What would you say is the most challenging part of your jobs?
The administrative stuff. Does any entrepreneur truly love it? I think not. Especially for me as a creative, it bogs me down. But that’s where processes and building your team so that you can scale is so important. You have to loosen up the reins a little so that the team can have some part in driving things forward, not just being told what to do. That was hard. But once I did, it was the best thing I could have ever learned.
What would you say is the most rewarding?
On social media, the responses. Yes, it’s a double edge sword, I get a lot of nasty hate and pigheaded leftwing comments. But I also get so much good. From people saying my story inspired them, to people saying that they are motivated to follow their dreams, come out of the closet or even expand their wardrobes, because of me. It’s mind blowing! From the business side, seeing all of our hard work pay off, happy clients and showcasing editorial work that we are all proud of. That’s what makes me tick!
What are your plans for the future of Stamina?
Well, the most exciting opening is our plans to pursue a Content House lifestyle studio. We are working hard to achieve a dynamic space, optimal for creating content. The space has 2 kitchens, a great room, dining room, library, and multiple outdoor living spaces. Yes, it includes the rooftop terrace. It’s going to be an amazing resource. We can’t wait until it comes to life.
