Kriti Sanon wrote an article regarding how she is with all the criticism directed at Adipurush. She declared that her attention is “on the cheers.”
Since it was launched on Friday, Om Raut’s Adipurush has been dogged by issues. The cast and crew of the movie have not had an easy time, facing criticism for its “cringeworthy” dialogues and Nepal’s ban on Bollywood films until a “objectionable” line is removed from Adipurush. Kriti Sanon, who plays Janaki in the movie based on the Hindu epic Ramayana, published a post about focusing on the ‘cheers and claps’ the movie is getting in the midst of the criticism.
On Friday, Adipurush debuted to mixed to unfavourable reviews. The visual effects and some of the language, according to some viewers, trivialised the characters from the renowned epic Ramayana. On social media, requests to prohibit the film have been trending since Friday.
Manoj Muntashir, the co-writer of Adipurush, recently stated that certain dialogues would be rewritten and added back into the film as they had “hurt” viewers, however it is unclear if he meant audiences in India or Nepal.
