Parag Chariya the owner of studio Shri Shakti is a renowned producer-director presenting many Gujarati folk music videos. He has launched many artists in the past and continues to shower confidence through his artists by giving them a platform to showcase their talent.
Vijay Vaja is one such talent who has got an immense amount of support from Parag Chariya as all his YouTube videos are produced and directed by Parag Chariya. His one of the early songs on the channel ‘Koli Chhe Mathabhari’, directed and produced by Parag Chariya is considered as his most famous song till date. Since both Vijay Vaja and Parag Chariya belong to the same community of ‘Koli’ they happen to share a special bond.
Vijay shares his experience working with Parag and mentions, “An artist goes through thick and thin situations in life and this is when they need support from a true mentor that helps in achieving goals. This happened in my career too. When I started my career I had these ups and downs and at one point I started to feel that my value in this field was going to be lost forever. That is when I got an offer of a song titled “Kolini Tani Na Karvi” For a moment it seemed that this song will not be accepted by the people in the market but it was a project of our producer and best friend Paragbhai. I trusted him for this project.”
He further adds, “I had heard about Paragbhai so I gave my voice in this song and the recording of this song started. Gradually I got introduced to Paragbhai and when I got to know his personality, I realized that despite his great knowledge, he was so ground to earth. His humility touched me. He never treated us like a producer but always as a family. This song was released and people also welcomed this song. All the credit goes to Paragbhai who got me in this game of music.’
