DJ and producer Jamie Roy, a local of Dumfries who has played out from one side of the planet to the other, has died. He was 33 years of age.
The musician’s family reported his passing on his official Facebook page on Sept. 21. “Jamie died yesterday,” the message said. “Jamie was a much cherished and skilled child, sibling, nephew and uncle and cherished by his numerous companions and partners both inside the music business and past that. We are totally heartbroken.”
The reason for Roy’s demise was made public.
Following the affirmation from Roy’s family, fans and associates grieved the late performer, including individual electronic artist Paul Woolford. “There is no one like THE Jamie Roy,” he composed on Twitter. “One out of 8 billion. Illuminated any room he strolled into. An unbelievable human. Difficult to trust it’s valid. Anything but that… “
English DJ Patrick Besting tweeted, “Destroyed to know about the death of Jamie Roy, such a sound fellow.”
Likewise, house music mark Deserted Records, which has advanced the late star lately, posted a recognition via web-based entertainment. “R.I.P. Jamie Roy,” their Sept. 21 tweet read. “We are undeniably crushed to find out about the death of Jamie today. An incredible maker, DJ, and companion to so many inside our industry. Our contemplations go out to his loved ones. Radiate brilliantly, Jamie.”
Recently, Roy prodded new music, composing on Facebook, “Greatest track of my life is at last coming! With one of my he greatest makers on the planet and one of my number one individuals on the planet. Collab declared coming soon…made this in lockdown and everybody been requesting it. ‘Allow us to sing’ love you all…coming out on @sonymusicuk @ultrarecordsofficial.”
Roy, whose music was frequently played on the U.K’s. BBC Radio 1, as per the BBC, was a natural face at shows in Ibiza. Recently, he played a gig in Croatia, close to a key area Round of Lofty positions fans might perceive. “Wow what a night the previous evening playing the world legacy site Stronghold Lovrijenac in Croatia,” the DJ composed on Facebook on Sept. 9. “Also can’t believe I played Red Keep from Game of thrones.”
