This approaching summer, Hootie & the Blowfish “only wanna be with you.”
On Friday, August 9, Hootie & the Blowfish will perform at Tinley Park’s Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre as part of their “Summer Camp with Trucks Tour.”
The South Carolina-based rock group has received four Grammy Award nominations; in 1994, they won the awards for Best New Artist and Best Pop Performance By A Duo or Group for their song “Let Her Cry.”
Their popular song “Only Wanna be With You” has received over 175 million plays on Spotify, with over 2.6 million weekly listeners.
The last time Hootie & the Blowfish played in the Chicago area was in 2019 while on their “Group Therapy Tour.”
The event starts on Friday, August 9 at 7 p.m.
