A good laugh is one of the finest ways to stay warm in the winter.
Throughout the coming months, a large number of comedians will be stopping through the Chicago area. There’s a show for everyone, featuring actors like Ana Gasteyer and ventriloquist Jeff Dunham.
A summary of a few shows between December and February is provided below.
December
Brad Williams
Brad Williams, an American comedian and actor best known for his several TV specials, will play two nights at The Den on December 1 and 2.
Sal Vulcano
Sal Vulcano, a comedian, actor, and producer from Staten Island, will do two shows at the Vic Theatre on December 1 and 2. Advertised for viewers over the age of sixteen.
Bellamy Bill
Bill Bellamy, an actor and stand-up comedian, will perform at Chicago Improv in Schaumburg on December 1–3.
Brent Morin
From December 8 through 10, the comedian, actor, and writer best known for playing “Justin Kearney” in the NBC sitcom “Undateable” will play at Chicago Improv in Schaumburg.
Pete Davidson
Pete Davidson, a well-known comedian, actor, and writer who was once on Saturday Night Live, will play at the Riviera Theatre on December 9.
Mulaney John
Chicago native John Mulaney, a comedian, writer, voice actor, and member of Saturday Night Live, will be making several appearances this holiday season. Mulaney’s performances are scheduled for the Rosemont Theatre on December 21 and 22, as well as the Letters to Santa Charity Gala in the Willis Tower on December 5.
Ana Gasteyer
Ana Gasteyer, an actress, former cast member of Saturday Night Live, and a graduate of Northwestern University, will be performing at Evanston SPACE on December 9 in her hometown.
Leno Jay
On December 15, comedian and former host of the NBC Tonight Show Jay Leno will perform at the Genesee Theatre.
Byrne Steve
Steve Byrne, an actor and stand-up comedian, will be at Chicago Improv in Schaumburg from December 15–17.
Dunham, Jeff
On December 31, comedy ventriloquist Jeff Dunham and his beloved characters will perform live at Allstate Arena.
DeRay Davis
DeRay Davis, a native of Chicago well-known for his variety of acting roles and stand-up comedy, will be performing several times this season. The Arie Crown Theatre will host DeRay Davis’ Funny and Famous Chi Town Comedy Countdown on December 30 and 31. Additionally, Davis will appear from January 11 to 14 at Chicago Improv in Schaumburg.
Steph Tolev
Steph Tolev, an actress and comedian from Canada, will be at the Zanies Comedy Club from December 27 to December 31.
January
Sam Tallent
From January 4–6, comedian, author, and podcaster Sam Tallent will perform at the Zanies Comedy Club.
Pete Correale
On January 6, Pete Correale, an actor, comedian, and writer from Long Island, will play at the City Winery.
Minhaj Hasan
Hasan Minhaj, the recipient of the Emmy, Webby, and Peabody awards, is renowned for his acting, humour, writing, producing, and political commentary. Hasan Minhaj is well-known for his programme “Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj” and for hosting Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show.” He’ll be at The Chicago Theatre on January 12.
David Spade
David Spade is a well-known comedian and actor who has acted in many classic films and as a cast member of Saturday Night Live. Spade will play the Riviera Theatre on January 12.
Goldstein, Brett
Brett Goldstein, an actor from the sports comedy-drama television series “Ted Lasso,” will be performing at The Chicago Theatre on January 18 and 20.
Siddiq Ali
Writer and stand-up comedian Ali Siddiq was a finalist on NBC’s comedy competition show “Bring the Funny” in 2019 and was voted Comedy Central’s “#1 Comic to Watch” in 2013. On January 26, Siddiq will perform at The Chicago Theatre.
