Fans now have two new songs from Zach Bryan: “River Washed Hair” and “Song for You,” in addition to the recorded version of “Streets of London,” which he debuted at his June 29 performance in London.
In a recent Instagram post, Bryan revealed that he had recorded “Streets of London” just days earlier at a studio that David Bowie preferred. Bryan made the song his debut during his BST Hyde Park performance.
When the song didn’t arrive, Bryan posted on Instagram to let fans know that he will be releasing two new songs on Tuesday, July 1. Originally, Bryan had promised to release “Streets of London” on Monday, June 30.
“yoooo decided to put two songs out instead of just one it’s gonna take an extra day!! Songs’ll be out Tuesday sorry sorry sorry,” he wrote on a since expired Instagram Story, according to Rolling Stone. “They are kind of just tunes that didn’t belong on the record, and they didn’t fit on an EP either, so I’m just releasing them to get them out into the world cause I love them. Hope you guys enjoy them. I love each one of ya!! even the folks who talked mad s–t all year.”
He added, “Also only five people ever have sold out Hyde Park two nights in a row. I have you guys to thank for it. I love you so much for showing out London. I will love your beautiful city and country forever! See you next time!”
Although there were no new songs announced on Tuesday, Bryan has now given fans even more than he had promised with these three songs.
Three of his forthcoming performances are scheduled for July 18–20 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
