On July 9, Samsung will host its next Galaxy Unpacked event, which will serve as the company’s major summer showcase.
Along with other products, most likely upgrades to the Galaxy Watch series, we expect to see follow-ups to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6.
This Unpacked will be the third of the year; the first one featured the Samsung Galaxy S25 phones, and the second one featured the Galaxy S25 Edge’s full launch.

How to watch Samsung Galaxy Unpacked
On Wednesday, July 9 at 7 a.m. PT/10 a.m. ET/3 p.m. BST and midnight on July 10 in Australia, the next Galaxy Unpacked showcase will take place.
Samsung’s website will stream the launch live for you to watch. However, seeing the showcase via the brand’s YouTube account would be a more straightforward approach.
What to expect at Galaxy Unpacked on July 9th
With the release of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and possibly a third phone, such as a Galaxy Z Fold Ultra, we anticipate that this event will be no different from previous “summer” Unpacked events, which are often focused on Samsung’s newest foldable phones.
According to current rumors, there won’t be any significant changes to the design or performance, but rather incremental design modifications and a few spec enhancements. Although these features are likely to be extended to other Galaxy phones and gadgets as well, Samsung is likely to promote new Galaxy AI features and highlight them on the new foldable phones.
Additionally, we anticipate the release of new smartwatches, maybe a Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 as well as the Galaxy Watch 8 and its “Classic” stablemate.
With a possible “squircle” shape evoking the square-meets-circle look of the Galaxy Watch Ultra and the possible return of a rotating bezel, an updated design has been predicted for the Watch 8.
The software for these watches should include additional AI-focused fitness tools and features, but also anticipate that other Galaxy Watch models will get these features as well.
