Sony is introducing sparkling new “Chroma” console covers for the PlayStation 5 Slim in pearl, indigo, and teal. If owning an iridescent console isn’t enough, you can now acquire new DualSense controllers that match.
The Chroma console covers will be $64.99 USD, while the DualSense controllers will be $79.99. Sony will release the Chroma pearl and indigo accessories on November 7th, followed by teal on January 23, 2025. The new colors look great, but they’re pretty harsh.
Preorders for the collection’s covers and controllers will be available on October 3rd in the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. On September 26th, Sony will also accept preorders for the 30th Anniversary PS5 and PS5 Pro, which will be outfitted in the colors of the original 1995 PlayStation – however it is unclear whether Sony will sell the nostalgic grey covers separately.
