Samsung Electronics today unveiled its most recent lineup of smart monitors, which includes the flagship M9 (M90SF model), as well as the revised M8 (M80F model) and M7 (M70F model). The new products offer a more connected and customized screen for work and play thanks to the addition of QD-OLED technology to the M9 and sophisticated AI features throughout the lineup.
“The Smart Monitor series continues to evolve based on how people work, watch and play,” said Hoon Chung, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display (VD) Business at Samsung Electronics. “With the introduction of QD-OLED and AI-powered enhancements, the M9 delivers a more responsive and refined screen experience — all within a single, versatile display.”
Smart Monitor M9: Intelligent Performance, OLED Picture
For the first time, QD-OLED technology is included in the Smart Monitor lineup with the Smart Monitor M9. Deep contrast and brilliant color are delivered by its 32-inch 4K QD-OLED panel, providing a more engaging visual experience for streaming, gaming, and productivity. With a patented cooling mechanism that lowers the risk of burn-in, Samsung OLED Safeguard+ helps preserve screen integrity over time. In order to reduce reflections and guarantee steady visibility and comfort, especially in intense illumination, the M9 also has a Glare-Free display.
The M9’s AI Picture Optimizer, 4K AI Upscaling Pro, and Active Voice Amplifier (AVA) Pro combine to improve sound and image quality in real time depending on the environment and content. The screen dynamically adjusts to provide the best possible performance whether users are multitasking, watching, or creating.
With access to well-known streaming apps, Samsung TV Plus, and Samsung Gaming Hub, the M9 also functions as a smart entertainment hub that allows cloud-based gaming without a console or PC. The M9’s 165 Hz refresh rate, 0.03 ms response time, and NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility enable fluid, quick-moving images that are perfect for high-performance applications.
Additionally, the M9 has a slim metal design that combines elegant style with practical functionality to provide a contemporary appearance that goes well with any workstation.
The Smart Monitor M9 has received Pantone Validated certification in recognition of its reliable and precise color performance. Users are reassured by this certification that the M9 has successfully completed the demanding testing requirements and is capable of reproducing more than 2,100 colors and 110 SkinTone tones from Pantone’s library. When paired with its dazzling QD-OLED display, the monitor guarantees that images show just as content creators intended, giving any application confidence and clarity.
Smart Monitor M8 and M7: Multipurpose Displays with Improved Connectivity and AI Functionality
With their 32-inch 4K UHD panels, brilliant picture quality, and integrated AI features, Samsung’s smart monitor experience is now available to a wider audience with the new Smart Monitor M8 and M7. Both versions are perfect for daily productivity, streaming, and much more since they are outfitted with Samsung’s advanced VA panel technology, which produces rich contrast and sharp detail.
Click to Search and other AI-powered discovery features are supported by both screens. While Tizen OS Home personalizes recommendations and facilitates access to regularly used services and inputs, these features aid users in exploring content, retrieving information, and interacting with their screen more naturally.
All three versions are flexible, including SmartThings integration, multi-control amongst Samsung devices, and multi-view for working or playing simultaneously. The series is a useful option for modern work setups because users may create and edit documents straight from the monitor without a PC when they have access to Microsoft 365.
Continuous Support and Availability
The Smart Monitor M9, M8, and M7 will start to roll out to markets around the world this month and come in 32-inch screen sizes.
Samsung provides up to seven years of One UI Tizen upgrades for the Smart Monitor range in order to guarantee long-term usability and support, enabling users to gradually take advantage of the newest features and services.
