Sulochana Latkar, a seasoned performer and one of Bollywood’s beloved “moms,” has passed away. She was 94 years old. Sulochana was well-known for her involvement in more than 200 Hindi films as well as numerous Marathi productions. She was given the Padma Shri, a civilian distinction.
Kanchan Ghanekar, Sulochana’s daughter, told Indian Express that her mother had breathing problems and age-related health issues. She passed away at 6 this evening. Her antim darshan will take place at her Prabhadevi home, and her cremation will take place at the Shivaji Park crematorium on Monday at 5:30 p.m.
