The specific release date has not been confirmed by the company; however, multiple reports suggest that it may be unveiled on July 9 at the July Unpacked event. Samsung has now hinted at the release of the Galaxy Buds Core with a teaser on its official social media channels. The post’s message promises improved audio performance: “Brace yourself! The music is about to hit harder. Feel every note, every drop, every beat – louder, clearer, deeper. Dropping soon!” Additionally, there is a microsite for the new earbuds on Samsung’s official Indian website; however, it only provides the product name at this time.
Essential Features of the Samsung Galaxy Buds (Expected)
It’s interesting to note that Samsung’s UAE website mentioned the Galaxy Buds Core as well, revealing some important details before the release. There will be two color options for the earbuds: black and white. To enhance sound quality in noisy settings, Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology will be incorporated. Additionally, it is anticipated that the earbuds will offer Samsung’s AI-powered features, such as Live Translate and Interpreter, which are designed to improve user convenience.
Samsung’s forthcoming earbuds are anticipated to have a battery life of up to 20 hours when ANC is active, and up to 35 hours when ANC is disabled. A 500mAh battery will fit in the charging case, and each earbud will have a 65mAh battery.
However, in terms of connectivity, the Galaxy Buds Core will work with Samsung’s Scalable codec, AAC, and SBC in addition to supporting Bluetooth version 5.4. Additionally, the earbuds will support A2DP, AVRCP, and HFP Bluetooth profiles. They will provide protection from water splashes and dust thanks to their IP54 rating.
